Yes, the admissions in Amity are direct. There are basic formalities on interview but ultimately everyone gets admission unless the class 11 marks were really low.

It is a good college with average placement. The only negative point is that the fee structure is too high.

Yes it is mandatory as per the new rules. Earlier IP University was allowing it but from this session it is compulsory and if you have maths in +2 then you will hardly face any problem in BCA because it has majority of what we learnt in +2 mathematics.

Ragging is strictly prohibited in all Amity university campuses. There is a well structured anti-ragging cell in the university
and any ragging case is not tolerated at all.

If you are planning to do MBA in finance than you can also go for CAT/CMAT apart from GMAT. If you specifically do executive MBA than go for GMAT with a work experience of 4+ years and eye for ISB, Hyderabad or Great lakes, Chennai as there are few colleges good for executive MBA course.
