No, candidates from other states cannot apply for the Andhra Pradesh EDECET 2023 exam. The Andhra Pradesh EDCET 2023 exam is conducted only for the students who have domicile in Andhra Pradesh and have resided in Andhra Pradesh for at least 10 years or candidates whose parents, or spouses are State/Central Government employees or working in Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Government owned Universities and other quasi-public institutions in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

In the case of a tie in marks, a tie-break is done as per the below-mentioned criteria:
- A candidate who has scored more in Part C are ranked higher
- If a tie still persists, then the candidate who has scored more in Part A is ranked higher
If a tie still persists then both the candidates are allotted the same rank, however, at the time of admission age criteria is taken into consideration and the candidate who is older is given preference for admission. As the Result for APEdCET 2023 is declared, candidates can download their rank card from the official website. APEdCET rank is valid for a period of one year.

To calculate APEdCET score candidates need to be aware about the marking scheme for the exam. In APEdCET exam, one mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is no negative making in the exam.

APEdCET 2023 Counselling process includes following steps:
- The counselling process will be held in online mode.
- It will Andhra Pradesh comprise of following steps: Verification of documents, Registration, Filling online choices and Reporting to the allocated institute for verification of documents.
- At the end, the shortlisted candidates will be needed to pay the processing fee to complete the registration for Andhra Pradesh EDCET 2023 Counselling.

As per the official brochure, the qualifying marks in Andhra Pradesh EdCET (except for SC/ST category candidates) are 37 out of total marks. For SC/ST category candidates, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. However, candidates can check the APEdCEt marking scheme as well here. In APEdCET exam, one mark is allotted for every correct answer in the exam. There is no negative for an incorrect answer in the exam.
