Hello, Anything can be started at any time. As this is your final year, I advise you to finish your degree and look into reputable universities that offer an archaeological degree. You might even pursue an archaeological Diploma. The best course of action is to pursue a B.Arch. From any reputable college and submit a placement application.

Hi. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the relevant discipline of archaeology, ancient history, or a field allied to it. At least a 55% on their qualifying exams. In order to get admitted, some universities require CET clearance followed by an interview, both of which the applicants must pass.
