B.Arch is a 5 year professional degree course. One can go for a job after B.Arch for a good experience or can start own consultancy firm (firm needs experience which one can get only after job). Council of Architecture (COA) India provides license for practicing as an architect. 'Generally' there are no placements in B.Arch but in no way it means architects are jobless. They have plenty of options to earn as assistant architect in good firms under reputed architects or start their own firm in any city. Architects build their own name, have their own individual identity, and they are their own Boss. It is just like doctors, do they go f

The National Institutes of Technology is one of the most prestigious colleges in India. SPA, JJ School of Architecture, CEPT, etc. Are other good architecture colleges in India. However, you might find that the work culture and environment at a school of architecture and design are drastically different from those at the National Institute of Technology. Technical subjects are taught in a very good technical environment at the National Institutes of Technology, which is crucial to honing your technical skills and practical knowledge of building in addition to aesthetics. When deciding upon the institute, you take into account the reput

Parametric architecture has brought a great deal of change to the architecture profession. It has contributed to the creation of a tangible space that will not only last years and the digital age but will also help shape the way forward to a more sustainable and expressive way of designing. Every design, after all, is based on parameters. However, the future scope for such architecture is not great in India, primarily because one, it is a very expansive course, and two, people here don't have a taste for it. But again, the cost is the major factor, and honestly, I don't SEE the point of such architecture in our country, where a lot of

According to my knowledge, both engineering and architecture have a good scope in India. But engineering has more opportunities in countries like India because there are many sub-branches in it. Engineering students in India are increasing year after year, but the lower number of architecture students is actually a benefit. Choosing a branch or course depends on your interest or passion, so I recommend choosing according to your interest. Architect salary in India ranges between INR 3.0 LPA to INR 40.0 LPA with an average annual salary of INR 19.1 LPA. Engineer salary in India ranges between INR 2.4 LPA to INR 10.3 LPA with an average

Interior design: Interior designers deal with making interior spaces more attractive and smart with structure, color schemes, furnishings, and decorations. Through the courses, candidates are taught all the techniques and materialistic knowledge of interior design. Architecture is a branch that deals with the art and Science of designing and engineering large structures, and buildings. However, there are many similarities between the two professions, so you can learn why they are both needed in the country.
1- Both are qualified to resolve problems related to empty space design.
2- Both are considered art and Science.
3- Both should be
