Both architecture and journalism are quite different courses, so I would suggest pursuing a course of your interest. Being LPU alumni, I had a friend who did B.Arch so based on his experience can share the detail of B.Arch. Lovely Professional University provides a B. Architecture course which is a 5-year duration course that's exactly 10 semesters. You can become an Architect after completing a B.Arch education. The Bachelor of Architecture programme being offered by the Department of Architecture & Planning, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jagannath University is a five-year professional degree programme. Students who have completed 10+2 Maths with a minimum of 50% marks and are NATA qualified are eligible for this course. There are no exact cut-off marks for JEE Mains exam in any stream of engineering. It differs from year to year and category to category.
The expected cut-off marks are 85-92 for CRL (Common Rank List), 77-83 for Gen EWS, 71- 77 for OBC-NCL,51-56 for SC, and 39-45 for ST category students.
The eligibility for B.Arch admission is 50% marks in 12th class or 50% marks in 10th class and diploma from college which need to be a recognised one.
IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee ar the only IITs which provide B.Arch course . NIT Calicut is the top NIT for B.Arch course. And IIT Roorkee is top IIT for B.Arch course.
