Absolutely, yes. ChatGPT is basically a type of Gen AI that makes use of LLMs to come up with new, human-like content in the form of text, code, images, etc., based on individual user prompts. As we see Gen AI reshaping the way industries function, ChatGPT surely has the potential to lead.

The Gen AI syllabus is not the same for all online courses and certifications. Some core concepts related to natural language processing, language modeling, AI model training, neural networks and programming can be the same but the course focus differs, along with the study approach and users. Beginner level courses are quite basic and focus on the theory part of GenAI fundamentals; advanced course modules are more practically oriented and require complex knowledge and reasoning.

Well, Gen AI courses do not mandate coding knowledge as a requirement for pursuing the course because there are many low-code or no code platforms, prebuilt models, and AI tools that you can use to harness the true potential of AI without needing any coding.

Having said that, coding knowledge is needed and helpful if you want to build your own Gen AI models, upgrade the existing ones to high performance AI systems, and look for advanced career opportunities in the market with hefty paychecks. A basic awareness of coding can help you understand the Gen AI applications better.
