You will have to qualify an entrance test for getting admitted to Acting school. Also, you may have to perform an act. You can take admission into following institutes like:
FTII, Pune
Film and Television Institute of India or FTII is located in Pune. The Institute offers 2 year PG Diploma in Acting. Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute
Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai offers 3 months course in acting. Delhi Film Institute
Delhi Film Institute is located in South Extension Delhi. The institute offers 2 months acting course in acting. ZIMA
Zee academy of media arts is located in Mumbai and it offers a 3 month course in acting

Both the course will teach you almost the same course of content. So you may join any of the courses you get admission in.

No, this is definitely not a good choice. As singing does not offer you a sure shot career. I would suggest you pursue a correspondence course simultaneously if you don't wish to go for a regular one. You can learn singing in the mean-time and do not lose 3 years.

Anupam Kher's Acting School the basic criteria is that you must have completed your 12th. Further, you can fill in the admission form and get into it. The link for admission forms are mentioned below:
