See, If you want to take admission in B.Tech courses, you have to appear for JEE Mains examination, as this university accepts only JEE Mains score with minimum 45% in class 12th. If you scored more than 80 percentile, you can easily get seat, as the cut-off is very low here.

According to the 2023 placement data, the highest package offered to BTech students at Assam University is INR 7 LPA (ECE) whereas the highest package offered to BTech students at IIIT Manipur is INR 12.50 LPA. Hence, IIIT Manipur is better in terms of placements. There are various things good about Assam University as well.
