It's very nice to know that you want to become scientist. Let me assure you that you can indeed become a geographical scientist. What needs to be done is firstly complete your graduation and post graduation studies in this subject. Then you can obtain a job in either a college or a government research lab. Then register yourself in a topic for Ph.D. At this stage you can be called a scientist or a researcher.

After you are done with class 12th grade, and you have got good grades, you need to focus on a good Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. One could choose a course in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, or Aerospace Engineering. After you are done with graduation, you can sit for the exam, which is held by NASA for the recruitment of scientists and astronauts. Or in order to join ISRO one needs to clear the Joint Entrance Exam which is held by the IITs. And in order to be a mission specialist, you will need 3 years of related and responsible experience.

Astronaut Eligibility
- You must have passed Ph.D in Astrophysics, Geophysics, Metaphysics from a recognized university.
- You are required to clear entrance exam.
- Your age should be below 21 years.
Steps to Become An Astronaut
- Apply for master's in physics or aerospace engineering.
- Apply for Ph.D in Astrophysics, Geophysics, Metaphysics, Aerospace.
- Apply for entrance of ISRO and clear it with good score.
- If qualified, You will be called for interview.
- If Selected, You will get posting as an astronaut.
