Why don't you start a small business initially to manufacture components required by automobiles companies? This way your dream of making a career in automobiles will also be fulfilled.

You must go for some PG Diploma in mechanical or automobile as you won't be eligible for any full time degree (M.Tech ME) in automobile.

Yes, but within a few years, there would be very less or no scope for mechanized vehicles as everything is turning into electric vehicles.
So if you could update yourself with the electric vehicles and related stuff then, you can option for automobile engineering.
It is not that, these engineers would have no scope but it is that, there is a transformation in the field of automobiles for which they need to equip themselves.

No, you can't appear for software engineering exam after majoring in automobile Diploma.
