Yes , you may go as automobile is part of mechanical engineering and production, industrial, mechanical design and automobile are interconnected. please go through Times Ranking and Queens ranking for list of such good colleges and also check their criteria

Germany is very much known for its technological advancements, especially Automobile and mechanical. Few good universities that you can look for are
Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen,
RWTH Aachen University,
Esslingen University of Applied Sciences,
University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt /
University of Applied Sciences Landshut,
etc.
Most of the universities have English as the medium of teaching. For admission you might have to give GRE and IELTS / TOEFL.
Also education in Germany is government funded, there is a possibility that you might have to pay a minimal fee ranging from euro 140-500.

Dear Lekhraj - Being a student of MBA I don't have a good idea of the Automobile engineering course but yes as far as my outlook towards the concern of package is I can say that it totally depends on the company and the type of job profile being offered.
