To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Avanthi's Scientific Technological and Research Academy, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TS EAMCET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course. Admission to any course at Avanthi's Scientific Technological and Research Academy is not based on the scores obtained in the MAT exam. To be eligible for lateral entry admission to BTech course at the college, the candidate must have completed a Diploma/ Bachelor's in a relevant stream from a recognized University. Although cutoff marks in the exam are not mandatory but the candidates having a valid score in the exam are given higher preference.

Admission to the course is mainly based on the rank obtained in TS EAMCET, TS POLYCET exam, and TSICET exam, respectively. The TSEdCET exam is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE/TGCHE). It is conducted for all colleges in Maharashtra, not only for Avanthi's Scientific Technological and Research Academy. The results for courses for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 21, 2025.

Avanthi's Scientific Technological and Research Academy was established in 1991. The college is located in living area Hayathnagar. There are various programmes offered there. It has really good faculty and infrastructure. Their main focus in on research and skills development. Their classrooms and research laboratories have modern technology.
