IATA shall only provide you training. You will have to look for a job on your own. They usually do not provide any placements or jobs as such. The certification provided by them is acceptable at many places and it is also very well recognised. So it should not be too difficult to find a job.

You should be aware that the cost of CPL Training is dependent on the type of aircraft you choose to get trained on.
Cessna 152 - Rs.7000-8000 per Hour
Cessna 172 - Rs.9000-11000 per Hour
P-16 - Rs.15000-18000 per Hour, etc.
Any candidate who gets enrolled for this professional training requires to complete 200 hours of flying, in order to get his/her CPL issued. Hence the total cost including accommodation + food goes around 30-40 lakhs.

No flying school in India or abroad assures placement. Only those courses which are cadet pilot programmes or sponsored by airlines allow jobs after the completion of CPL Training. If you are looking for assured job courses then you will have to opt for Cadet Pilot Programme, but remember it will be immensely expensive when compared with training from normal flying schools. The only and major difference is that if you get trained from any flying school you will have to fight the competition for selection in any airline. While in CPP the airline will pick you up.

IGRUA is the best, they are government aided and have the best infrastructure, instructors, aircrafts and other facilities. They also have a tie-up with CAE, hence the quality of training and exposure is much better. Chimes is also doing good when it comes to private institutions. They operate from an uncontrolled airfield and usually have to go to Bhopal or some other controlled airfield to practise instrument flying procedures. The instructors are although good and same is the condition of their airplanes. Both the institutions have good in-house accommodation facilities available and the infrastructure is also comparable. No, B.Tech is not going to give any additional advantage or preference for pilot training. The only required educational qualification for becoming a pilot is 12th with PCM. B.Tech will just find a place in your CV and will be reflected as your additional qualification. Apart from this, there's no other benefit that it shall give you.

Commerce students can also join pilot training provided they satisfy the minimum educational qualification required for the same. The essential educational qualification required for becoming a pilot is 12th from any recognised board with PCM as subjects. Now since you've done your class 12 from commerce stream, at present you are not eligible for the course. But you may satisfy the eligibility if you appear for PCM as additional subjects in the next board exam. Once you get PCM on your board marksheet with 50% marks. You shall be able to enroll for pilot training.

Hi, Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy is a decent college. As of now, the placements are average, but that's not a precedent for the upcoming years. Regards.
