The basic prerequisites to become a pilot are mentioned below:
You must complete class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks in maths and physics. You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 for a Private Pilot License, and 18 for a Commercial Pilot License. Alternatively, you could directly enrol for the Private Pilot License once you have cleared class XII and are 17 years old. Without an airline transport pilot certificate, and with only a CPL and a few hundred hours to your name, you're very limited in what you can do for a living. Theoretically, the FAA lists all the careers a CPL-wielding pilot can legally perform. Yes, you are eligible to pursue Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Tourism Management from Institute of Logistics and Aviation Management, Mumbai.
Basic eligibility for this course is that candidate should have cleared their class 12 exams with minimum pass mark of 50%. If needed, candidate have to clear the ILAM entrance test.
