* To become a Commercial Pilot :
-You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and Mathematics) with 50%.
-Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
-You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
-Next is Private Pilot License which includes sixty hours of flying. A Commercial Pilot Licence may be obtained only after a PPL and 250 hours of flying.

As per your query it seems that you are interested in being a flight steward, so regarding this please remember being a flight steward is one of the good career option.
In order to become a flight steward you may consider pursuing some of the below mentioned course:
- Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management.
- Diploma in Hospitality, Travel and Customer Service.
The duration of these course may be from 12 months to 18 months.
In order to pursue above mentioned course you need to be 12th pass and above, and need to have a good communication skills.
National and some international airlines recruit cabin crew by calling for applications through leading newspapers.
Graduates in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism.
Good language, ability and proficiency in English, Hindi, a regional language and at least one foreign language are essential requirements for in flight crew members working for National or International carriers.
Physical requirements - Height for Flight Attendants 163 cm with proportionate weight.
Normal eyesight without glasses or a minimum uncorrected distant vision of 6/40 is acceptable.
National Carriers - Scrutinise applications and conduct written test comprising of general knowledge, mental ability and verbal ability for shortlisted candidates. This is followed by an interview and group discussion.
