The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing BA (Honors) Economics degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board of the country. Some universities and colleges give preference to students who have studied Economics as a subject at 10+2 level.
So, you are definitely eligible for this course.

Admission to UG courses offered by colleges affiliated to Bangalore University is done on the basis of merit in previous qualifying exam, except BCA for which counselling is conducted by the colleges individually. For LL. M. and M.P.Ed entrance tests are conducted by the university, on the basis of which seats are offered. Admission to the rest of the PG courses are granted on the basis of merit in the previous qualifying score. However, the admission cycle may vary; hence the candidates are advised to get in touch with the university for course specific information. Hope that helps.
