But, I doubt that Chandigarh University doesn't have BA economics.

In my opinion BA honours in economics is a better option.
It will include all aspects of economics. It will include mathematical and theoretical aspects of economics. It will include micro, macro, statistics, international economics, econometrics. It will be relevant in every field. It is an academic course. It is a vast course. BA business economics will focus more on the business aspects. It will include topics like consumers behaviour, producers equilibrium, demand and supply. It is a professional course. It is a specialised course

Yes, As IP university is one of the best well recognised university. Its placement & campus is quite well. So, I think to choose IPU for BA in economics is a good choice.

B.Sc is more practical, and BA is more theoretical. B.Sc focusses more on mathematical aspects. It has more number of courses. A B.Sc degree should be your first choice. If you go for an honors course, you get a specialization in the final year.
