Ph.D is required to be a researcher and analyst. Firstly, complete your Bachelor's and then Masters and finally go for Ph.D. It takes about 3 years in Bachelors, 2 years in Masters and finally 3-5 years in Ph.D.

Hi, to pursue your Masters in the UK you must take the IELTS for UKVI. Generally, an overall score of 7 is required. This is the only test you are required to take unless specified by an university. To get into any top university you need to be highly academic and have very good grades all throughout. Eligibility Criteria for BA programmes -
B.A.(Hons.) Candidates qualified in 10+2 Board or equivalent examination. Candidates must have obtained at least 45% in aggregate of all subjects. Having maths as a subject is not compulsory, however, you may have to have economics as one of your electives if you are a humanities student.
