No, NALSAR University of Law does not grant admission without CLAT score. Hence, the course aspirants must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score. CLAT is a pen and paper based test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). After the entrance exam, cutoff marks are announced. Are you confused which law university to get admission in? The best way to decide is to have the correct metrics for comparison. Both the NLUs can be compared based on the integrated course fee, placement package, university ranking, and more.
Below table presents a comparison between both the universities on the basis of fee and median package:
| NLU Name | Total Tuition Fee | Median Package (BA LLB (H) |
|---|---|---|
| BA LLB (H) at NLU Shimla | INR 8.1 lakh | INR 5 LPA |
| BA LLB (H) at NLU Delhi | INR 6.8 lakh | INR 19 LPA |
NOTE:
- The median package mentioned for HPNLU is the overall minimum package and not specifically for BA LLB (H), offered as per verified student reviews on Shiksha.
- The given fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
