To get IPU (main campus- USLLS and VIPS) you need to have a total score of atleast 470 out of 650. And admission in IPU through cuet happens only after the CLAT rounds are over, so you must wait till the spot rounds.

Interested students must visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs and participate in the counselling process conducted based on CLAT scores. As of now, the official body has released the CLAT second allotment list for 2025.

While applying for BA LLB Hons at NLU Kolkata via CLAT, students are required to pay an application fee. Check the below table to know the category-wise fees to apply:

  • For General/OBC/PWD/PIO/OCI/NRI: INR 4,000
  • SC/ST/BPL: INR 3,500

The first stage of the NLU Kolkata BA LLB admission process starts with the application submission round. The interested students are required to submit the application form for the CLAT examination. The steps to apply are as follows:

1. Visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

2. Now, click on the 'Register' button.

3. Fill out the registration form that appears on the screen. Also, select and confirm a password for the candidate account.

4. Login to the account made in the previous step and fill out the application form.

5. Pay the application fees and click on the submit button.

NLU Kolkata admits students to its BA LLB Hons course based on CLAT scores. As per official sources, up till now, the Consortium of NLUs has released the second seat allotment result for 2025. The CLAT 2025 third allotment list is expected to be published on Jun 20, 2025. Once the results are out, students participating in the admission process must visit the official website to check it.

No, students interested in taking admission to the NLU Kolkata BA LLB (H) course cannot do so without having a valid CLAT score. Thus, all students interested in taking admission are required to appear for the CLAT exam. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted in pen and paper mode. The application forms for the exam can be filled out by Consortium of NLUs.
