Aspirants who have passed Class 12 conducted by any recognised Central / State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to Class 12 examination with at least 70% aggregate are eligible to apply for VIT School of Law BA LLB (Hons) course.
Candidates who have appeared for their Class 12 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their passing certificate on the day of reporting to VIT School of Law.

Aspirants who did not appear for CLAT or got a low score can apply for CMRUAT. It is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the CMR University.
