As per the NUALS Kochi cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank was 1461 for the BBA LLB (Hons) course for the General All India category students. In 2022 and 2021, the last round closing rank stood at 1250 and 1144 for the BA LLB (Hons) course.

The opening or minimum rank required for NLU Patna is 1314 for BA LLB (Hons) and 1218 for BBA LLB (Hons) courses for General Category students under Vertical Reservation for CLAT Fifth Provisional Allotment List. CLAT Fifth Provisional Allotment list has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for NLU Patna admission to BBA LLB and LLM courses. Registered candidates for CLAT 2023 counselling were called by the respective NLUs through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT.
