Admissions 2023 are open to all courses. Jamia Millia Islamia has not released the 2023 placement details yet for the Faculty of Law. However, JMI has released the NIRF report 2023 on its official website. According to the JMI Law NIRF report 2023, 53 BA LLB (Hons) and 29 LLM students were placed during Jamia Millia Islamia Law placements in 2022. Further, the median package offered during JMI Law placements was INR 5.40 LPA for BA LLB (Hons) students and INR 6.60 LPA for LLM students.

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.

According to the Law NIRF report 2024 released by JMI, the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 8.4 LPA and INR 9.6 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 51 students were placed and 15 students opted for higher studies out of a total of 66 students during UG 5-year placements 2023.
