Lot of promises are made through websites, but it's only your academic records and Internships that decide where you end up. Packages are decided on the basis of the firms, company's, independent practitioners that are invited through the placement programme; and not all students get the opportunity to sit for placements (only shortlisted candidates do). Further, your academic records and placement committee's efforts decide what kind of offer you might receive. Also, law firms have different pay scales, companies have different, and so there is no specific number. Note: Colleges make you job ready, it's not their duty to ensure that you have a job in your hand (your CV will guarantee that).
