Both B.A. Political Science and B.A. LL.B. Are very different courses. With political Science, A student pursuing studies in political Science can choose a career according to his/her choice. After completing Bachelors/Masters programme in political Science, several opportunities are available in both government and private sectors. Politics, public administration, law, and marketing fields are always in need of good political scientists. Political scientists even can opt for campaign management, polling and electoral politics, and university and college teaching. The career prospects in political Science have widened enough in the voluntary organisation sectors, such as NGOs. The international voluntary organizations, like UNO, have huge scopes for proficient political scientists across the world. Besides, they can join media houses as political journalists and political researchers/analysts. Whats more, they can become members of Parliament or State Legislative Assemblies, or serve various political parties as party president, party member, or activist. Whereas, Most of the law graduates work as apprentice while they are in final year of their studies. After gaining experience as apprentice, they can take part in the examinations organized by Law Society. Those clearing this examination can work as articled clerks. These professionals can work under the experienced advocates as junior advocates and can gain several years of experience. Once they gain this experience they will be able to practice independently. Numerous opportunities are there in this field in both public and in private sectors. Most of the law graduates prefer to work as a lawyer in reputed sectors. And for this they need license issued by Local/ State/ Central BAR Council. They can begin their career in government sectors as lawyer in tax and labour departments, public prosecutors or in defense fields. The experienced ones can move up to the positions like Associate Attorney, and Solicitor General etc. They can also in the teaching field, work for particular firms, organizations or family, in consulting agencies and even in political field.
