Government seat depends on your score and caste and from where you belong to. So if you score above 350 if your OBC category than you get government seat. If your SC and ST then eligible marks are enough

Yes you can go for DNB after BAMS but there is some eligibility.

Diplomate of National Board is for medical graduates with an MBBS degree so candidates with BAMS need to fulfill some other requirements or bridge courses.

While DNB is primarily available to MBBS graduates many specializations like Ayurvedic medicine or integrated healthcare may offer opportunities for BAMS graduates, but these options are limited.

No, you cannot get admission in any college for BAMS. NEET is compulsory exam for any medical related fields in India. You have to give NEET to be qualified for admission in BAMS colleges.

No, AIIMS does not offer BAMS course. AIIMS offers courses which focus only on the modern medical education and training, offering various medical degrees such as MBBS, MD and even various other PG and super-specialty courses.

Being a BAMS student, you can be a general physician, but only within the scope of Ayurvedic medicine. See, you are trained to diagnose and treat patients using Ayurvedic principles, so you clearly cannot prescribe allopathic medicines or perform surgeries. You can provide herbal remedies, suggest dietary changes, and lifestyle modifications to your patients, though.

Yes, after BAMS you can do MD also. But it will be MD in Ayurveda, not in modern medicine. This helps student to study more deep in subject like Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Stree Rog and many others.

For this, you need to pass entrance exam and fulfill rules of admission. With MD Ayurveda, BAMS doctors can grow skill more and work in higher position in Ayurvedic field.

Yes BAMS doctors can open their clinics and practice Ayurvedic medicine. After completing their BAMS course and getting registration with state medical council they are authorized to treat patients using Ayurvedic methods.

The average BAMS salary can get up to INR 4 LPA, whereas that of an MBBS doctor can get up to INR 7.5 LPA.

No, BAMS doctor salary is not same like MBBS doctor. MBBS doctors mostly earn more money because they can do more type of treatment in modern medicine.
