As per UNESCO data, the number of Indian mobile international students has increased by 163% from 1999 to 2006 and expected to rise higher. Almost three million Indian students travel abroad for higher education and expected to rise as the years go.
Which means that the popularity of studying overseas increasing dynamically that can give you a sense of security - one thing to understand that getting admission in the foreign universities is much easier compared to the local public universities.
A recent survey suggested that getting admission into the IITs is tougher than getting admitted into the top 20 universities in the world.

Hello Ajith,
Both courses are good and almost same. It just depends upon your interest. BA in journalism is a regular programme of three years. While B.Voc is also a three year programme but here you have a choice, you can withdraw from the course after 1 year which will be considered as a Diploma.

Hello Monika,
Opting Bachelors programme in any such as language, journalism, mass communication or, performing arts, etc. Getting degree in a related field will be good. If you want to establish a best career than remember two things first just work upon your skills, language and communication, polish them and secondly go for a degree course.

Hello Shefali,
The companies visit the college to hire a student. Secondly, you can work upon your skills, language, and personality and apply for the anchoring in media houses or for the channels. Initially, you can start with the local or district channels if you don't find the recognised one. Here, in this field two things matter the most - talent and experience. So, don't worry about that work upon all your necessary skills. Apply for the media houses. Apart from this, you can pursue a certificate course in anchoring or you may also pursue performing arts course. Thank you.

Have a look at your syllabus first since every university follows a slightly different syllabus. My college follows The DU syllabus. In 1st semester, you have Indian classical and European classical literature. To get background of English literature and different time periods you can refer to the OXFORD history of English literature and to get used to the basic terms use glossary of Literary terms by M. H Abrams. For the text prescribed, you can visit project Gutenberg YOU will find most of the texts there.
