Yes, it is possible as per the UGC regulations. IT is known as concurrent admission. Universities, such as Bharthiar and Madras University promotes concurrent admission system. Through this, a student can pursue 2 courses simultaneously, one at the college and another through distance / collaborative education mode.

No, it is not mandatory to have commerce stream to apply for this course. This course is more like B.Com, but it does not contain the subjects in the depth and it is more related to management.

It is really good, if you are interested in mass media course. So, you have continue as you want. Firstly, you have to check the university list or institutes who offers masters in Mass Media. But, if you are interested in specific area of mass media i.e. film, advertising, designing, reporting and all etc, then just don't go for degree, you can pursue PG Diploma or short term courses of Mass Media. So, tell me, what exactly you want to ask, then only I can define exactly as your needs.
