There are many questions of the same nature. However, this needs a separate treatment, because you have mentioned B.A. In Journalism not in Mass Media. Journalism is more of a traditional form of Mass Media, which may not have the advanced and development communication tools in learning. I wish to make it clear that the universities may call the degree by any name the things taught are basically the same. Please read the following answer:

My suggestion is, if possible, avoid taking admission to the IMC & MT. The Quality of education is disappointing and the amount of knowledge and Skills given is low.

A Degree in Journalism is necessary these days to enter the ever-expanding domain of jobs and careers. The media houses need thousands of youngsters each year to take up jobs that vary from News reporting to graphic designing' from camera to content writing and from simple public relation activities to event management at big levels. Taking into consideration your score you have a quite decent academics, if you want to get a decent college just concentrate to make your basics stronger and make your concepts stronger and apply it in different manner and solve more mock tests so that you won't face difficulty or have nervousness at finals, if you'll do this it will fetch you a quite good college and 85 percentile and above would land you in a pretty good college if you want to get first tier colleges then try to get 95 percentile and above.
