Hi Junaid,
MBA is never a bad option for anyone. I would say, you should definitely go for MBA. BA plus MBA sounds good, and also would give you a strong CV.

No, it does not give you lateral entry in BA in DU for B.A. You need to clear the cut-off based on you class 12th marks.

I think, the only way to get in DU for Political Science Hons is through 12th marks. If you clear the cut-off, then you are eligible for DU.
