If you want to become a teacher at a college then definitely you must continue your study up to Ph.D level. But if you want to become a teacher at the lower level that means below college level then you have to complete B.Ed and M.Ed. For higher secondary level, MA and B.Ed are required. For Secondary level, BA and B.Ed, for elementary level 10+2 or BA and D.El.Ed is required. If you want to become a principal or vice principal of a school then MA with M.Ed is required.

Hello Nishant,
First of all, I would recommend you to think about this situation again as this would make your previous qualifications (B.Tech and M.Tech) of no use. You can always complete your M.Tech and do the BA course whenever you're free. But withdrawing your M.Tech course in between and going for BA will raise many questions. Ultimately, it's your decision and you can opt for BA with the same university if they have the particular course.
Best of luck for your future.
