The minimum criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum aggregate score of 50. Candidates awaiting their final examinations results are also eligible to apply on provisional basis. There are over 276 colleges which offer B.A. In Economics from India. There is no MBA degree that can help you to have a career in film industry but there are Diploma and post graduate Diploma courses that are designed to give you formal education about film making. You can chose to pursue courses like direction, production, editing, script writing, cinematography etc. In order to make a career in film making. These are the best colleges for the same:
1. Film and Television Institute of India, Pune
2. Whistling Woods International, Mumbai
3. Satyajit Ray Institute of Film and Television, Kolkata
4. Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida
5. Zee Institute Of Media Arts (ZIMA), Mumbai.

Different colleges have a different eligibility criteria for admission. Usually, an honors degree is required for admission for admission into the same. It is not about the graduation. MBA is such a platform, where you can add perk to your qualification. It is up to your hard work. It is obvious, you have to study hard as you need starts from the basic, but it is up to your focus.

It depends on your interest. If you want to pursue a career in research, teaching, administrative or civil services, political Science would be a great option. If you wish to pursue a career in journalism, advertising, event management, public relations etc., then mass communication will be a wise choice. You need to figure out your interest to make a choice between both.

St. Stephen's College and Lady Shri Ram College are at the top of the list. Both the colleges are at par when it comes to brand value, exposure and the placements of course. Shri Ram College of Commerce in spite of being ranked number one college for commerce isn't the best choice for economics honours but is the second best though.
