Hi Subhamay,
Actually, there is no such sole course available.
In SXCKOL, you can pursue B.Sc in Mass Communication & Videography which will have Journalism as ancillary subject along with Film Studies. And also if you get admission in any other BA course in SXCKOL; which are Honours in English, Political Science, Sociology & Bengali, then you'll be able to get Journalism as one of your ancillary subject.

Yes, you can pursue 2 different programme from 2 different universities in 2 different study mode regular and Distance.

Hello Lalit,
It's the best to pursue your passion even if it's outside engineering. Yes, geography is a good choice. I feel that your best option would be IGNOU. It's distance education programmes are world class.

You need to give CET 2017, There are two departments for mass communication one is for electronic media and one is for print media. There is no placement cell in print media here but companies like Sony and Starplus and other do come in electronic media. Also, in print media. different newspaper and channels come for hiring reporters and news reader and all. So you always have the choice.
