BA is not a job oriented graduation degree. If you do not want to do B.Tech then BBA can be a good option for you. It not only will help you to get a job in the banking sector but also in private sector in other types of industries.

Hi Aashika,
There are many pros and cons of studying through distance or in SOL. You have to keep a number of factors in mind while deciding. Though distance education degrees are increasingly recognized all over and you can study anytime - anywhere, also saves a lot of money, working while studying there still exist a question on its credibility and recognition amongst employers and further education particularly in India. You can go for the Higher Studies after the Completion of BA Economics. You can do Post Graduate in MA Economics so that your base and knowledge regarding the Economics will become strong. And once you become well versed in it, then can appear for, the exams in the final year, like
NET, SET, JRF which are sponsored by UGC. Once, you clear them, you will be getting Scholarships Government for further Research studies in Economics. Then, you can master yourself in it and become ECONOMISTS. By the way, there are many job opportunities in Economics.
