You must score at least 95 percentile. But in some cases even 95 percentile is not enough. You must aim for 97 percentile.

If your wife having aim for teacher than she can pursue B.ed for school teacher otherwise she can go for Net exam than apply for College level professorship and even she start teaching profession after Phd programme too.
So decide the way according to her interest and passion.

B.Com Honors and BA Economics Honors from DU will require Maths as a subject in XII.

You can pursue MBA in finance and marketing apart from PG in Economics. MBA will open better avenues for you.
