No, it is not compulsory to appear for the JEE Main paper 2. If you are interested in B.Arch/B. Planning course, then only apply for the course.

Firstly, check whether you have received any confirmation mail from NTA. Secondly, check whether you have got any payment confirmation mail from NTA. Thirdly, check the website from which you have applied for. Fourthly, check the NTA website for JEE Mains exam, open the student portal and check there whether you have missed any relevant information or any notification regarding the admit card release or whether your application is accepted. No, MHT CET is not compulsory for architecture courses. However, If you want to take admitted to the Bachelor of architecture then you have to give JEE Main paper 2, NATA exam and For Maharashtra architecture admission you have to give the Bachelor of Architecture CET. The minimum eligibility criteria are 50% marks in class 12th board and 70 marks out of 200 in NATA to apply for CEPT University, Ahmedabad.
50% of the 12th score and 50% of your NATA score sump up to your merit.
There are a total of 80 seats for B.Arch in CPET.
Last year, the cutoff for general category students from CBSE board was 82 in NATA and the closing rank was 20,001.
The cutoff for general category students from the Gujarat board was 74.05 and the closing rank was 10,026.
