The curriuclum followed at JMC for BCom and BCom (Hons) is specified by the University of Delhi. For both the courses, students have to study a combination of core, elective and Ability Enhancement papers/subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. The total number of credits to be earned by students pursuing BCom and BCom (Hons) at Jesus and Mary College are 132 and 148, respectively. As a 3rd year B.Com (Hons) student, you are eligible to enroll directly in the Intermediate CA course without taking the Foundation exam, provided you have secured at least 55% marks in your undergraduate course. This direct entry scheme allows you to bypass the Foundation level and proceed directly to Intermediate registration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Usually, the average cut off range for B.Com or B.Com (hons) at DU is around from 84% to 98%. The highest cut-off marks for DU admissions typically fall between 650-700. For admission to the B.Com (Hons) course, a score above 700 is considered good. For admission to the English (Hons) course, a score above 700-720 is considered good. So, unfortunately with 550 marks in CUET you cannot get any seat in B.Com at DU.
