Undergraduate courses, especially B.Com (Hons) and B.A. (Hons) Economics, percentage required in Class 12 varies. For B.Com (Hons), students are usually required to aim for around 98% for general category, B.A. (Hons) Economics, the requirement shall be 98.5%. Moreover, mathematics at 12th grade is compulsory in both subjects, although it may not be compulsory in the best 4 subjects. If a student does not study finance or business in 12th grade, 2.5% may be deducted from the required percentage. Since SRCC admission is competitive, it is important to aim for exceptionally high scores.

Sometimes it depends upon the university. You must check the eligibility criteria of that course in the university.

In my opinion, B.Com is not the type of course where you can expect a high chance of offers and a high package. But pursuing a B.Com from Amity University gives you the opportunity to work with some great companies. There is a 70% chance of placement. The average salary offered is INR 6-7 LPA on the other hand, in other colleges it is around INR 3-4 LPA.

The college you get will depend on a lot of factors like your category, whether you are general, SC, ST, OBC etc. It will also depend on whether you are from Delhi or outside Delhi. For B.Com (Hons.), the cut off for applicants from Delhi is expected to be 8758 and for those from outside Delhi is expected to be 4260. If you are from Delhi, you can expect to get good colleges from IPU. But if you are from outside Delhi, then you are in the borderline. But even then, you can get good colleges in the 2nd or 3rd round.
