To apply for the BCom LLB (H) programme, candidates must ensure that they meet the course-specific eligibility criteria. The selection is based on merit. Students must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate in a relevant subject. Additionally, students from the OCB category must have passed Class 12 in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 42%. Whereas, SC category students must have a minimum aggregate of 40% in Class 12.

An eligible applicant for the BCom LLB programme at Invertis University shall have completed High School or an equivalent examination from any Recognized Board with aggregate marks of 45%. The candidate must have passed the subject of English in the qualifying examinations, with at least 40% marks. There is no upper age limit for the BCom LLB programme at Invertis University. The total number of seats is 120, and this needs to be filled on merit, based on 50% weightage of the qualifying examination and an interview. The annual fee for the course is approximately INR 65,000.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the BCom LLB course at K.R. Mangalam University is candidates must complete their Class 12 preferably from Commerce stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. For the selection process, the university accepts the scores of several entrance exams - CUET UG, CLAT, and KREE. Moreover, students who are awaiting the results are also eligible. However, if selected, they are granted provisional admission until the release of results.

Typically, a bachelor's degree in commerce (BCom) or a related field is required. Some universities may also accept candidates with a bachelor's degree in arts or science, provided they have studied specific subjects.

Candidates seeking admission to TNDALU Chennai BCom LLB (Hons) are required to meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or three-year Diploma/ Polytechnic examinations from a recognised educational institution with a minimum of 70% aggregate in all the subjects (60% aggregate in all the subjects for SC/ ST communities candidates) can apply for admission. Candidates aspiring to apply for the BCom LLB (Hons) programme must have studied commerce or an equivalent subject related to commerce alone as a subject in the Higher Secondary examination.

Students aspiring to take admission into CV Raman University BCom LLB must fulfill the eligibility requirement. Only those students who meet the criteria will be considered for further admission process. To be eligible for a BCom LLB, a candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% (for GEN candidates )/42% (for OBC candidates)/40% (for SC/ST candidates).

The PULAT eligibility criteria for the BCom LLB and BBA LLB admission are the same as the PULAT BA LLB eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the three 5-year LLB courses have been mentioned below:
- Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 Examination Pass form recognised Board with minimum of 45% in aggregate ( 40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category)
- Appeared for CLAT/LSAT-India/PULAT ( Presidency University Law Admission Test)
- The maximum age limit for candidates is 20 years as on the first day of July of the year of admission (22 years in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category)
