No, students apprising to take admission to BCom LLB at Kerala University are required to take the KLEE exam. It is an entrance exam held for admission to government law colleges and government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges. The duration of this exam is two hours. However, taking this exam does not guarantee admission. Students who qualify for this exam are further evaluated based on a PI round.

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to the BCom LLB course. The college offers seats for the BCom LLB programme when candidates qualify for either the merit list or secure valid scores in BMSCLAT. The BCom LLB course, required candidates to go through a complete admission procedure which required that candidates must secure at least an aggregate of 45% in their Class 12, and after applying for the programme they have to appear in the entrance exam. Lastly, qualify the merit/cutoff list released by the college based on applicants' score.

The objective of the merit scholarship at BMS College of Law is constituted to attract the best of mind during the admission process, securing 90% and above in the Class 12 examination. The eligibility criteria and awards that BCom LLB students can get, if they qualify for merit scholarships are:
