B.Com Placement

There are no centralized or direct placements at Acharya Nagarjuna University for B.Com students. However, some of the affiliated colleges of ANU, Guntur offer placement services for their respective students. The median salary of B.Com graduates can vary depending on various factors such as the college or university they graduated from, their academic performance, their work experience, and the industry they work in. However, on average, the starting salary of B.Com graduates in India is around 2-4 Lacs per annum. Wipro, Infosys, and regional firms are the top recruiters. Many students got internships. NOTE: It is important to note that the salary of B.Com graduates can increase significantly with work experience and advanced degrees. MCom is a step ahead of what u learn in BCom. Yeah you can call yourself to be a Masters Grad but other than these it has no much value in Job market as a fresher as the MNC treat BCom and MCom same for recruitment.
If you can observe MBA fresher is also treated the same these days.
At present MCom fresher is as equal as BCom grads in terms of corporate position and the pay package will also be as a fresher. It would be better if you can get work experience in the 2 years instead of MCom, and meanwhile you can take up a Masters course in Distance mode from good Universities. This would add value to the two years time.
Other option would be to take up a full time MBA program from a reputed Institute or pursue a professional courses like CA, CS, CMA, CFA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA.
Or another option, take up a job now and after 2 years join for an Executive MBA. With this you can do both work plus study.
