B.Com Placement

BCom at MGKVP is a three-year programme. According to the university's NIRF Report 2024, a median package of INR 3.37 LPA was offered to the students pursuing UG (3-year) courses. 569 UG (3-year) students were placed out of a total of 1,429 students. According to MGKVP reviews on Shiksha.com, an average rating of 3.1 stars (out of 5) was provided by students to the university's BCom placements. According to the students reviews, the salary package offered during BCom placements ranged from INR 1.2 LPA to 7.5 LPA over the past few years. The top recruiting companies were ICICI Bank, TCS, and other local private banks.

The PIMR BCom placement report has not been released. However, as per the overall report, the highest package offered during the 2024 placement drive at Prestige Gwalior stood at INR 14.70 LPA. Additionally, the average package stood at INR 4.67 LPA. It must be noted that the above-mentioned placement data is not as per the official placement report. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

The college has a strong placement record, with many students securing jobs in reputed companies across various sectors. Some of the top recruiters at JLU Bhopal include Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, and Amazon. The average salary package offered to BCom (H) students is also quite competitive.

JLU Bhopal NIRF report for 2023 states that the median package offered to UG three-year students participating in the 2022 placements stood at INR 3.6 LPA. 

Moreover, as per the JLU overall 2023 placement, the the highest package offered to students participating in the 2023 placement was INR 14.25 LPA. Other than this, HCL, Airtel, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Deloitte, and Wipro were some of the top recruiters who participated in the placement dirve.

There are many colleges in Kolkata offering excellent placement opportunities to the B.Com graduates. Among them are:
St. Xavier's College: Known for its placements, with average packages around INR 9.5 LPA.
Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration: Known for good industry connections, with an average package of approximately 6 LPA.
J.D. Birla Institute: Placement record with average package INR 2.5 - 3 LPA.
Bhawanipur Education Society College: Offers very good placement support, and some students have even gotten packages up to INR 15 LPA.

The BCom placements at T. John Group of Institutions are considered decent by some students and alumni, while some of the reviews show dissatisfaction towards placement opportunities. Hence, the placement at TJGI for the BCom course is considered mixed. However, some of the reviews pointed out that the amount of students getting placements by college is good but the average package provided by the placements is low. 

GN Group of Institutes offers decent placements to its BCom students annually. As per the latest report, the highest package offered to the BCom batch 2022 during GN Group of Institutes BCom placements 2022 stood at INR 18 LPA. The same is tabulated below:
