The difference in fee between general BCom course between both shifts is around INR 37,270 per semester or INR 2.23 Lacs for the whole course at Loyola College. The Shift 1 BCom course has a lower tuition fee than the BCom course in Shift 2 due to shift 1 fees being applicable to the candidates in the aided group. The migration to an affiliated college such as S.D. College to study B.Com course is available in your second year of study, from Panjab University, Centers for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). You would require to be approved by the principals of both CDOE and S.D. College, and purchase Migration Certificate in Panjab University. Make sure that credits you have gained at CDOE within your first year are transferable to S.D. College and should be accredited there easily because they are subsidiaries of the same university. It covers definite forms and time limits thus it is very important to communicate in admissions office of S.D.

St. Joseph's University in Bangalore offers B.Com. admissions based on your Class 12 marks—no entrance exam is needed. The cutoffs can change every year depending on the number of applicants. But usually, for the general category, you need around 90% or above, while reserved categories might get in with around 75%. A short interaction or interview may also be part of the process, so apply early and stay updated on the website.

Talking about the core subjects included in the BCom in Banking and Finance syllabus, there is no such scope for customization, as those subjects are compulsory for you to study in each semester because of the foundational knowledge of the field they provide.

Coming to the elective subjects in the BCom in Banking syllabus, you do have some scope for customization, as you can pick the subjects as per your interests, understanding, and career alignment.
