The scholarships granted in the Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute for BCom students predominantly coincide with the Central Sector Scheme Scholarship for College and University Students as prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Although the institute has no specific scholarships reserved for the BCom programme, financial aid is available based on performance in the Senior Secondary Examination. Additionally, it provides for high-standing students from various disciplines and deserving students for any merit-based scholarships that may be awarded to them.
