No, MHT-CET is primarily for Engineering and Pharmacy courses in Maharashtra, it is not used for BCom admissions.
For BCom admissions in Mumbai colleges, students from other states can apply through:
- CUET - most widely accepted for BCom across India
- NMIMS NPAT - for NMIMS specifically
- Merit-based (Class 12 marks) - most Mumbai colleges accept direct applications based on 12th percentage, regardless of the student's home state

Yes, Punjabi University, Patiala does offer a BCom course to applicants in academic year 2026. BCom course is only offered as a general BCom course however, it is available as an integrated course mode with MCom for five years.

Punjabi University, Patiala BCom admissions are not based on CUET-UG. Candidates are only evaluated based on in house entrance exam conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala for BCom admissions.
During personal interviews, only scores of this exam will be used to ask questions.
