The tuition fee for Himachal Pradesh University BCom ranges between INR 1,800 and INR 1.1 Lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The BCom fee includes admission fee, annual charges, monthly charges, migration fee, registration fee, etc. Once candidates are shortlisted, they need to pay a programme fee to confirm their seat in the university. Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 100 for BCom programme.

Himachal Pradesh University, Department of Evening Studies release merit list after the registration process is over. The university usually releases two merit list to announce the names of shortlisted candidates for BCom programme admission. Since, the official schedule is not out yet. Below are the tentative HPU dates for BCom merit list as per the previous year schedules:

Alagappa University has not released a concise placements report for the BCom placed students. As per the NIRF report 2024 of the university, 61 UG (3-year) students were placed, out of 216. Moreover, the median package offered to the students stood at INR 1.27 LPA. Some of the top companies that participate in its placements drive are TCS, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Wipro, etc.

Himachal Pradesh University BCom admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. The admissions are based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 or an equivalent examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board can get admission to the BCom programme.

HPU reserves some seats for SC/ ST candidates of Himachal domicile. Below is the HPU BCom seat reservation criteria:
