Admission to the BCom General or specialised programmes offered at City College Jayanagar is based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination but the institute might also conduct an Online test and/ or Personal Interview for admission. Further, candidates with an extraordinary skill in specific fields such as sports, music, theatre etc. would be given a special quota as the college assess candidates as per their academic accomplishments and co-curricular activities achievements.

Candidates seeking admission to the BCom programme in any of the specialisation must meet the City College Bangalore BCom eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination with at least 70% aggregate (50% aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ ST or PwD category) can apply for admission to the BCom programme. B.Com. in Computer Applications at S.A. College of Arts and Science is a 3 years course offered at the UG level. Candidates should have completed 10+2 with Accountancy and Commerce and one of the optional subject - Mathematics / Statistics / Business Maths / Computer Science from recognised board in order to be eligible for admission. The fee structure at S.A. College of Arts and Science for B.Com. in Computer Applications is not yet mentioned in the official website of college.
