Yes, admission to all the Kaziranga University courses is merit-based. Yes, a student can do B.Com Honours after Class 12 passed in Commerce. Only the candidate would have to meet the minimum cut-off fixed by the desired college for admission. However, colleges give preference to Commerce students for BCom and BCom Honours courses.

However, no specialisation is given in the final year in the BCom course, while the candidates under the B.Com honours course can choose from a variety of specialisation relying on economics, taxation, finance, banking, insurance, trading, etc.
