Whether 50 in UCEED a good rank for IIT Guwahati depends on the category the student belongs to. For students belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff rank in round 1 was 77. Therefore, attaing a rank of 50 can secure a seat at the college, for the General AI category candidates. Among the OBC AI category students, the cutoff rank was closed at 44. Thus, for the OBC AI category candidates, it is not possible to get a seat at the college with 50 rank in UCEED. Similarly, for other categories also, it is difficult as the rank required is quite lower.

At UPES School of Design, placement data by B.Des specialisation isn't publicly disclosed. The school has a good overall placement record, with the best package being INR 13.75 LPA and top recruiters being LTI, Deloitte, and TCS. Specializations such as Product Design, UX & Interaction Design, and Mobility & Vehicle Design are industry-demand-specific, which could lead to better placement opportunities. For accurate information, it's best to talk to the placement cell of the college or recent graduates.

Hope this Helps!

For NIFT Bhopal BDes, candidates should have passed Class 12 from a known board or completed a 3 or 4-year AICTE-approved or State Board-approved diploma. There is no percentage bar. Marks obtained in entrance exams play an important role in selection. Eligible candidates are also required to undergo NIFT counselling.
