ITM Institute of Design and Media Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised university/board from any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science). They must have valid UCEED/ NIFT/ NID scores else they can appear for ITM IDM Entrance Test.

The exact number of students who can pursue a B.Des in Accessory Design at NIFT varies depending on the specific NIFT campus, but typically, each campus admits a limited number of students to this specialization, usually ranging between 30 to 40 students per batch. 

No, you cannot join NIFT for a B.Des programme without taking the NIFT entrance exam; admission to the B.Des course at NIFT is strictly based on your performance in the NIFT entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a Situation Test for shortlisted candidates. 

The latest information, the cutoff for B.Des admissions at NIFT varies depending on the NIFT campus, course specialization, and category, but generally, for a general category student, a closing rank within the range of 200-500 could be considered a good benchmark for admission to a B.Des programme at a top NIFT campus; you can check the specific cut-off details for each course and campus on the official NIFT website for the most accurate information. 

NIFT cutoff 2025 - The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the NIFT 2025 cutoffs at the time of counseling and seat allotment. The NIFT cut offs are different for every campus but a score of 75 our of 100 can be considered good.  

In the previous edition, FOUR regular and one SPOT seat allotment rounds of NIFT counselling were conducted. For each of these rounds, a separate cut-off was released.
