The total tuition fees of BDes at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Design is around INR 12 lakh. This is just the tuition fee. Candidates are also charged for hostel, one-time payments and other fees. To get into B.Des in NIFT Kangra, the eligibility criteria must be qualified by stating that "the candidate must have passed 10+2 of any stream Science/Commerce/Arts from a recognized board of respective state. The upper age limit is 23 years, but SC/ST/PwD candidates are provided with an age relaxation of up to 5 years." And admission will be taken based on scores obtained in the NIFT entrance exam. To study BDes at IIT Bombay, candidate must appear in the UCEED and attain the require the neccessary rank. IIT Bombay BDes Cutoff 2025 among the General AI category candidates was 14, in the first round. In 2024 also, the cutoff rank for admission to BDes at IIT Bombay was 14.
